Who is eligible for the Covid 19 Vaccine?
-As per Government guidelines, anyone aged 12 and over is eligible to receive their Covid-19 Vaccine.

Can I have my booster shot at BSFM?
- Anyone aged 18 years and over who had their second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine more than six (6) months ago is encouraged to get a Covid-19 booster

Can I book an appointment to be vaccinated at Beach Street Family Medicine?
-YES! You can book an appointment either by calling our reception on 9781 5177 or through our online booking system.

How many doses are needed and when?
- The COVID-19 Vaccine is administered in two doses, delivered 3-6 weeks apart.

How long do I need to wait between my COVID-19 dose and my Flu shot?
-The Australian Government has recommended a gap of at least TWO WEEKS between the Flu and COVID-19 vaccines. It does not matter which vaccine is given first.

How much does the COVID-19 vaccine cost?
-The COVID-19 Vaccine is provided and administered at NO COST to all eligible Medicare Card holders. If you're not a Medicare card holder, please call your local GP-led respiratory clinic or a state/territory vaccination clinic.

We DO NOT test for COVID19 at Beach Street Family Medicine. Please go to your local authorised pop-up testing facility or authorised COVID19 test site.

Do not attend the practice if you have fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough or any other symptoms of COVID19. Call reception for instruction on how to see your doctor.

Please be kind to our staff and each other. We ask that you wear a mask at all times on the premises. Prior to entering the premises, a staff member will check your temperature.
