Iron Infusions
An iron infusion is a medical procedure used to treat iron deficiency anemia when oral iron supplementation is ineffective, poorly tolerated, or cannot meet the patient's needs due to malabsorption or other medical conditions. It involves administering iron directly into the bloodstream via an intravenous (IV) infusion.
